This bundle contains three courses:

Insights Discovery (Bronze) which covers:

  • Introduction to the history of Insights Discovery
  • Psychological preferences: introversion/extraversion, thinking/feeling, sensation/intuition
  • Introduction to the four colour preferences in the Insights Discovery model
  • The five levels of Emotional Intelligence: Self Awareness, Managing Emotions, Motivating Yourself, Empathy and Social Skills
  • Invitation to reflect on your colour preferences and Emotional Intelligence


Insights Discovery (Silver)  which covers:

  • Exploration of the psychological preferences and how these relate to you
  • Reflections on how you tend to react: introversion/extraversion
  • How do you tend to make decisions: thinking/feeling
  • How you process and perceive information: sensation/intuition


Insights Discovery (Gold) which covers:

  • Detailed reflections on each of the five levels of Emotional Intelligence – identifying both strengths and challenges
  • Reminders of the strengths of the four Insights Discovery colour preferences
  • Explanation of the construction of the Discovery wheel
  • Guidance on guessing your wheel position
  • Clarity on appropriate and inappropriate language to use when referring to colour preferences
  • Introduction to the Insights Discovery Eight Types around the wheel


Who is this course for?

  • This course is ideal for those wishing to develop their self-awareness to assist in their personal development
  • It is essential if you are new to a management role and wish to consider the impact of your personal style on others
  • It is also ideal if you’ve heard about the colour energies being used in large corporate organisations and you want to find out how it can help you, your team and organisation


Learning objectives

The learning is broken up into three modules – Bronze, Silver and Gold.

After completing all three modules, you will be able to:

  • Determine what your Insights Discovery personal preferences might be in the workplace
  • Establish the key principles of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and how these underpin great personal leadership
  • Identify through great self-awareness, how you can improve your interpersonal connections and teamwork
  • Develop a plan of action for your ongoing personal development – with documents and support to help you.


After completing the three modules, you’ll have access to the online Evaluator, which will generate an Insights Discovery profile for you.  Along with a supporting online coaching session, this will enable you to generate some personal development actions to work on your Emotional Intelligence, too.

Completion of the Gold module will certainly inspire you to want to discover more with the Platinum session.  After completing the online Evaluator, this will generate your unique and personalised Insights Discovery profile.

Support and learning will be provided with an online coaching session, during which you will receive your profile.  The inspiration in this profile will guide you around your strengths, weaknesses, communication preferences, your value to a team, how to connect with your opposite type, blind spots and personal development suggestions.

The coaching will also support your learning and actions to support the development of your Emotional Intelligence.

About the course provider

Liz Gait of EG People Development is well-established in the Insights Community as a Licensed Practitioner.  She qualified in 2010 and has led coaching and training sessions in local authorities and global organisations.  She is passionate about creating entrepreneurial and creative teams where people love coming to work to be their best version.  That is why she loves what she does, and this is part of her personal quest to enable everyone to flourish in everything they do.

Assessment and pass rate

  • Each course should take between 45 and 60 minutes (plus reflection time) and can be completed at your own pace.
  • There is a quiz at the end of each course consisting of five to six questions – you need to get 75% to pass but don’t worry, you can take it as many times as you need.



A certificate is available on successful completion of the Gold course.
